My daughter Bronwyn booked the pottery class for herself, her hubby (Chris), her mum (me Elizabeth) and dad (Roy). It was an amazing day; the teacher was so patient and her instructions excellent. We were all amazed how our pottery turned out, no wobbly ones. Looking forward to getting the glazed pots in a few weeks' time. Would love to do it again and again. Elizabeth

Greg was an excellent teacher full of ideas and inspiration. He clearly explained process without being too technical and gave lots of good advice. Very enjoyable workshop with just the right amount of participants.

We had such a fun time doing this class with my parents. Our teacher was lovely and very helpful, and considering we are complete novices, we were all very happy with our creations. Can't wait to see them glazed and fired in a few weeks time!

This has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and I to share. I’m onto my third mosaic piece and still have plans for more. Such a satisfying craft. Sonja’s expertise, guidance and support for all in the class is exceptional. She is always encouraging us to stretch our ideas and skills so that we complete pieces that we are extremely proud of. I will continue to recommend this course to anyone who is keen to try.

Sonja is a wonderful and talented artist and person. She guides you through your project every step and is extremely helpful, whether you’re a first timer or a returning student.

This was my second-year learning mosaics with Sonja at Monsalvat and I love it. I will be back next year too. Sonja is a great teacher and a very talented artist.

NCC year 10 pottery students had a fabulous 'hands on the 10 wheels experience' on Thursday 10th with Claytalks Montsalvat. Sean Aitken patiently and skilfully guided students through the process of making successful pots and bowls. They all took up the challenge and I highly recommend this unique excursion experience for any art students.
