Transforming clay into various forms is a magical and meditative process that has been a joy and privilege to learn under the guidance of ceramic artist Mary- Lou Pittard. It is inspiring to work in the barn studio, nestled in the surrounds of nature on the grounds of Montselvat, with its enchanting buildings and long history of art making. I highly recommend this experience to anyone that has been contemplating working with clay.
I have thoroughly enjoyed wheel throwing on Monday evenings with Mary -Lou.
Her approach and dedication to the class can not be faulted and what we take away each week from her wealth of knowledge and experience is priceless. I feel very privileged to be part of this class and clay talk at Monsalvat.
