Really fantastic workshop - walks you through each step of the process, you get to glaze 2 pots which have been made for you, see your pot red hot in the kiln, being put in the bin with sawdust and paper which ignite when the pot is put in there and you get to fan the fire around it. It's up there in the best natural highs you can experience when you see your finished pot emerge from the ashes. Interesting to hear about the history of raku, teacher is very informative if you want to set up your own kilns at home and in relation to any questions you may have about pottery. I'll definitely be returning to do that again, and you can buy raku clay there to make your own pieces at home to bring next time.
Had a great time, decorated some awesome pots, and learned some foundational knowledge of the Raku process and its history. Would highly recommend
