That was the most amazing week. The Clay Talk Montsalvat team did the most amazing job of bringing presenters and delegates together in a rich but relaxed week celebrating wood firing and ceramics. The venue was excellent and it was great to see Montsalvat come alive with all of the creativity I remember from years of visits. So many special buildings were used for exhibitions, demonstrations, presentations, panel discussions and creative workshops. Truly fabulous - thank you!
Loved it and was very impressed by the quality of teaching and the sharing of information. However two suggestions for improvements. 1. There was a lot of noise pollution in the Great hall when there was 4 demos. It was really difficult to listen to the quieter teachers. 2. More instructions/ suggestions of clay bodies/ slip/ glaze for each firing type especially for newbies like myself. There was an assumption we knew what to do! Otherwise, had a fabulous time and will definitely come back.
